Resonans is a collaboration between Mariela and Teresa.
The two met a few years ago while Teresa worked in a local record store - a meeting that sparked a deep friendship built on their shared love for music, sound, vinyl culture and the wonders of life.
Together, they create spaces where music is not background, but an experience.
Teresa aka Barbara Frey is an established DJ and selector with a deep affection for vinyl and analog sound.
Her carefully curated sonic world shapes the musical identity of Resonans as Music Curator & Community Director.
Additionally she's a mum and Speech Therapist whose work centers on understanding, communication, and nervous system regulation.
Her therapeutic perspective deepens our understanding of how sound, breath, and human presence interact.
Mariela, founder of Resonans, is a musician and holder of a PhD in Chemistry. She works within scientific research. Her background in complex biological systems and systems thinking informs the design of Resonans’ listening experiences — bridging high-fidelity sound culture with evidence-based understanding of regulation, perception, and human connection.
